With 4 dogs in this house, I feel like all I do is vacuum and shampoo carpets, oh, and wash bedding. Tess and Vinny both sleep on or in the bed. Always. And Vinny is a horrible shedder. Even right after a bath. Shed shed shed… shed. Tess, she sheds some, but not nearly as much as Vinny. Sadie and Sam are content to sleep on the floor, well, usually. Every now and then, Sadie will sleep in the chair, but Sam, he’s a floor boy. But Tess & Vinny… they insist on having their fare share of the bed, and your share too. Fare or not. But the CARPETS… O M G!!! I shampoo and vacuum and vacuum and shampoo and SHAMPOO, but they’re just gross. Tonight, I started shampooing before 5 and just quit. That’s an hour and a half in just ONE small room. I shampooed and rinsed and shampooed and rinsed and shampooed again, for a total of 18 containers of water. Granted, I rinsed a few more times than I shampooed, but every time I dumped the water champer thingy, it was BLACK. I kept looking at it, wondering what IS that in my carpet?? Where in the hell is this coming from? I kept thinking it would get lighter, but it really never did. I’m so disgusted. I know I’m a bad housekeeper, but wow, I didn’t think I was quite that bad. I bet I shampoo that dining room at LEAST twice a month, just because it’s by the back door where they run in and out with their wet, muddy feetses. I finally just had to quit. I’ve admitted defeat for now and decided to eat dinner instead. Damn it!!
Son and DIL think they may be expecting! They haven’t tested yet, but she’s sure not felt too good for a couple weeks now. I’m trying very hard to mind my own business and not pry every single day, but somedays, I just can’t help it and I have to ask her how she’s feeling. When she says sick, I almost dance a jig.
They are trying, so if she’s not, they’ll try try again. I bought a pair of Harley baby booties and a onesie that says ‘Catch me if you can’ over the weekend. I saw a bib that said ‘toothless and ruthless’ too. VERY cute! Can’t hardly wait!
I got a paper in the mail over the weekend. There’s a class action lawsuit for Walmart. LOL Oh yeah, that’s funny and I intend to send my form back. My manager never asked us, or really allowed us to work off the clock, but I know it happened other places. I’m sure I’ve mentioned how much I hate Walmart, haven’t I? Ok, maybe not lately. More than that, I hate our store manager here. He was fantasticly awesome in the old store, but once we got into the new supercenter, he became someone nobody even knew. We butted heads alot. He told me more than once that a good manager can manage from his office. HA! Not even jerk-wad. Nobody even knew he was if they saw him. He never stopped by to visit or meet the new face or just make a friendly hello. He now comes off that he’s much to good to be bothered with that insignificant stuff. It’s really sad. When I see him now, he never speaks to me or practices the 10 foot rule. I SWEAR the next time I see him and he does that, I’m gonna launch a complaint. “I promise that whenever I come within 10 feet of a customer, I will look him in the eye, greet him, and ask if I can help him.” Jerkass.
Well, I need to change the laundry. Sorry I don’t have something much more exciting to report!

A BABY!!! That would be VERY EXCITING NEWS. How do you keep from buying a pg. test and showing up on their doorstep every night!!? I can’t wait to have grandkids someday…but hopefully I’ll be waiting, you know, at least ten years.
Did they get their house sold yet?
I’m not around much lately, either, but it’s not because I’m shampooing carpets. It’s because I’m lazy and in court, followed by a side of third (and sometimes eighth grade) homework/Boy Scouts/karate in the evenings. I forgot how much time school takes.
